Bio

My photography adventure began in high school when a photojournalism teacher helped me buy a used Pentax K-1000 film camera on eBay. I was hooked and never looked back. A youthful desire for adventure led me into the U.S. Marines where I would soon “travel the world” with camera in hand and steadily grow my love for the art. I later found myself graduating from the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA, a fine school that jump started my early commercial photography career.

The endless photography adventure can be described as nothing less than an amazing blessing from heaven. The work (which I consider fun) has taken me to mountain tops in El Salvador, the busy streets of Bangkok, dry lake beds in Southern California, New York City skyscrapers, Washington, D.C., and many more. My goal has been simple at each time and place, to provide the client with a photographic experience that leads to quality images for use on billboards, in magazines, newspapers, online, and everywhere in between.

The latest portion of the adventure has me serving various public and private sector clients in the Northern Virginia region. From business leaders and government executives to blue collar small business owners needing commercial portraiture, I’m here to help. When I’m not behind the camera or editing images, you can find me in the Blue Ridge Mountains working on the next DIY home project, repairing a “classic” Jeep, or spending time with my family.
